Harry’s on Buderim

I was sent the below letter from one of my readers  – Kellie and her husband Dwayne from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. They recently celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary and wanted to share their romantic lunch with us.

Dwayne and Kellie

Dwayne and I recently enjoyed a beautiful lunch at Harry’s on Buderim for our wedding anniversary, without the kids. Harry’s is really well-known to Buderim locals and has been around for approximately 20 years. The restaurant is set in a rain forest location at the beginning of the Buderim National Park, so access is only by car. The rainforest setting gives it the peaceful setting that it’s best known for.

We made our reservation for an outdoor table since it was September and a lunch date. We enjoyed their 2 course menu option and chose the main and dessert. Both meals were absolutely divine! The drinks and wine menu had quite a few options to suit all budgets. I would highly recommend Harry’s over and over again for a romantic lunch.

We look forward to going back in the winter time when they have the wood fire going and you get to enjoy the night time ambience. Harry’s is only a short drive from Marrochydore, along the Maroochydore Rd, turn off onto Jones then Lindsay Road. Harry’s lane is on the left hand side. Beautiful romantic setting. Well worth the visit.

Kellie and Dwayne.
