Loving You Easy by Roni Loren

Loving You Easy is the latest book from romance author Roni Loren, and I have to say, this book was hot hot hot! 😉 When one of my readers asked me to review one of Roni’s books, I was a little reluctant. Not because of the content, but because I had so many books sitting in my inbox I really wanted to read first. But after a little persuasion I downloaded the book and took a peek at the first few pages. That was all it took – I was hooked! I don’t know how you feel about menage but I thought it was really hot. If you think the story is all about sex, then you are wrong.

The story revolves around Cora, a woman with low self-esteem and very little confidence. A woman who has listened to negative comments in the past and taken them to heart, allowing them to shape her life. Tired of being hurt, she interacts with strangers online in a game that’s based on a fantasy world. A game were sex and dominance is the norm. When her identity is exposed she approaches the creators of the game to help recover her information and find out who is stalking her.

Hayes is a protector, a man who spent 3 years in jail trusting the wrong person. Now that he is free, he wants nothing more than to be left alone. To pick up the pieces and figure out his future. He doesn’t feel ready to return to work, to the gaming business he built with his best friend Ren, but it isn’t long before he discovers he has no choice.

Ren is a little cocky. He loves his work and his best friend Hayes, but he is afraid to expose his true feelings. He is unsure whether his friend is ready to hear his confession, or if he feels the same way. Since Hayes was released from jail, he has been distant. Spending most of his time sucking on a bottle of Jack Daniels. But when a young woman named Cora approaches him and tells him the game they created has been hacked, he turns to his best friend. Together they try to figure out who is stalking their players. The more they find out what is going on, the more they realise they are in over their head.

When the guys find out Cora is an IT Security Specialist, they hire her. Hayes tries to keep his distance but when he discovers Cora’s little secret – all bets are off! They may not have expected such a strong attraction, or for a relationship to blossom, but the closer they get to finding out who is stalking their players, the more they each realise what they have to lose. The mystery is seamlessly woven between the self-discovery and growing sexual awareness of the trio. The intimate occasions enhance the story, yet it is not written in any way that is tacky or ridiculous. The way their relationship evolves is realistic and beautifully written.
