Naughty Boss by G Whitney

Imagine having a boss who was incredibly good-looking, very fit and bumpy in all the right places 🙂 and let’s not forget…. quick-witted and intelligent. Why did I mention brains in that sentence? Because even in my imagination a man needs to be able to put more than two words together 🙂 In author G. Whitney’s latest book, Naughty Boss, CEO Michael is all that and more. Sound too good to be true? Well it is. You see Michael is a bit of a pompous ass and as CEO he is about to learn a thing or two about how to be a better man.

Mya thinks she has found her dream job. As Executive Assistant of Leighton Publishing, Mya is responsible for overseeing the development of manuscripts, editing time lines, reports and acquisitions. She also assists the CEO with travel itineraries, meetings and anything else the CEO may deem necessary. Coffee, dry cleaning…. a swift kick in the backside! Mya’s dream job soon becomes a battle ground and after a year with the company she has had enough!

Michael has been a bad boy, a really bad boy. But if he wants to be taken seriously in the publishing world he needs to pull up his big boy pants and start acting like a CEO. That means no more scandals and staying off the front page of the tabloid magazines. Doesn’t sound to difficult, does it? Well poor Michael thought that hiring Mya would be good for him and the business, problem was she was too good and its driving Michael insane. How does Michael handle his attraction to his assistant? By being an asshole! Michael makes such unrealistic demands on Mya thinking she will handle what he throws her way, problem is everyone has their limits, and Mya has reached hers! When Michael finds out Mya is quitting he decides to change tactics, from asshole boss to Naughty Boss. But two can play this game!

When I first read the blurb on Amazon (below) I thought it was a little silly. But for a few dollars I thought “Why not?” and I am glad I downloaded it. Naughty Boss was really good. Michael started off as a real jerk, but over time he warmed up to me. Naughty Boss is over-the-top and very funny, a perfect short story for a nice peaceful afternoon.

He definitely wasn’t supposed to get that email…
Subject: My Boss.

Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?

Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.

I honestly can’t wait to see the look on his face two months from now when I tell him that I’m quitting his company and that he can kiss my ass. KISS. MY. ASS.

All those former fantasies about him kissing me with his “mouth of perfection” or bending me over my desk and filling me with his cock are long over. OVER.

Your bestie,
Mya

PS–Please tell me your day is going better than mine…

No, you haven’t already told me that you hate your boss today, but seeing as though you’ve sent me this email directly, I know now…

Yes, I did ask you to pick up my dry cleaning the second you arrived to work today. (Where is it?) And I did tell you to take my Jaguar to the car wash and pick up my thousand-dollar watch. (Thank you for taking five hours to do something that could be accomplished in two.)

You don’t have to wait two months from now to see the look on my face when you tell me you’re quitting. I’m standing outside your office at this very moment. ( Open the door. )

No comment on your “fantasies,” although I highly doubt they’re “long over.”
Your boss,
Michael

PS—Yes. My day is definitely going far better than yours…
